That I would enjoy painting?!?! Definitely not going to be my future career but fun nonetheless.
It all started with the desire to make some multi-cultural art for Addie's room. I would have just bought some off Etsy but art can get pricey so I decided to try my hand at painting. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it and how happy I was with the (cheap!) results.
Here is the first group of paintings hanging on Addie's wall:
Those paintings took me about a week (I don't have tons of free time;). After finishing them I got busy on other projects and kind of forgot about painting. A few weeks ago I saw a fun (albeit random) painting of a cow on a blog and LOVED the painting. Same ol' story . . . art being expensive . . .blah, blah, blah. So two nights ago Amy and I had a painting session and this is what I came up with.
My cow painting:
Now I have to decide what to paint next. I love that this is a cheap, fun and productive hobby (it helps that I am just using .70 cent craft paints)!
